Adopt a Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat)

Diva is a happy, ridiculous, imp of a creature who is all about having fun and going on adventures. Her name should have been shenanigans, because she is all about seeing what kind of silliness she can get herself into. Diva came to us as a momma dog and spent some time in the Maternity Ward. She was a bit of a handful with her momma hormones intact, so she went to training after her motherly duties were completed, and she has turned into the brightest star now that her training is complete! She's low-to-moderate energy, crate trained, housebroken and non-destructive enough to sleep on the bed with Poppa, or resident training pack leader. Diva rides great in the car and loves any excuse to curl up next to her human. She's recently taken on the role of being the buddy dog to other dogs who need to learn some social skills....boy, has she come far in just a few short months! Her best buddy is Beetlejuice, and she'd love to take him with her to her new home, but she's made other dog friends as well, so she'll be just fine making new friends wherever she lands. Diva loves kids, she's pretty sure they're made just for her, but no kitties for this pretty gal. Are you looking for a tri-color beauty with a bit of a naughty streak and a supremely funny sense of humor? You might just be the match for our Diva girl! We think she'd be best matched with male dogs of similar size or larger, though she has been cordial to the females in training as well, so who knows. Diva would love a fenced yard to putter around in, we don't think she'd be a good dog park candidate, but we're open to discussing other ways to exercise her if you don't have a fenced yard.
